    概述

    Montserrat

    Julieta Ulanovsky 在 2010 年开始了这个项目，当时她是布宜诺斯艾利斯大学 FADU 字体设计的研究生。她于 2011 年将其作为 Kickstarter 项目启动，以完成第一次公开发布，并通过 Google Fonts 与世界分享。在她的 Kickstarter 中，她这样描述它：

    布宜诺斯艾利斯传统社区蒙特塞拉特的老海报和标牌启发我设计了一种字体，旨在挽救二十世纪上半叶城市排版的美感。目标是从蒙特塞拉特中挖掘这些美感并将其释放出来，以自由、开源的方式发布，遵循 SIL 开源字体许可（OFL）。

    自那时以来，它由 Julieta 与多位设计师合作开发。2015 年，Julieta 与 Ale Paul、Carolina Giovagnoli、Andrés Torresi、Juan Pablo del Peral 和 Sol Matas 合作开发了完整的字重和斜体。2017 年，Jacques Le Bailly 重新设计了整个拉丁字母部分，同时 Juan Pablo del Peral 和 Sol Matas 在 Maria Doreuli 和 Alexei Vanyashin 的审查与建议下开发了最初的西里尔字母扩展。技术评审由 Lasse Fister、Kalapi GajjarBordawekar 和 Marc Foley 完成。特别感谢 Thomas Linard、Valeria Dulitzky、Belén Quirós 和 Germán Rozo 的支持。
